For nearly 15 years, Little Dove has provided age-appropriate developmental learning and loving care for almost 200 toddlers, and 130 families, from Wayland and the surrounding towns. Despite offering a consistently high-quality program, under the direction of Kathleen Sawyer, Little Dove is unable to enroll enough children to keep the program open. The Little Dove board voted to close the center at the end of May, 2013. The board, along with Kathleen and members of the church, are actively looking for new ways to serve the children of the community in coming years.
